Hi Buddy. You have shown yourself to be a very mature 17 year old with all your business and numerous accounts, and I am sure Santander will regret losing you as loyal customer especially as you have been with them for such a considerable time.
And not capping, but wish you well in your business mate! LOL

No point in "fighting" as you won't win if you have breached T&Cs.
Your best course of action seems- if you haven't already got one, get yourself a personal current account somewhere else. Don't use that account for business
- get yourself a business account for your business transactions
- don't make any "listen mate" posts if you want help from people
If you are trying to hide your business activities. Paypal do report data to the HMRC.
I’m not even going to cap (lie) but I’m not 18 yet and my PayPal accounts are not verified so they can’t send anything to HMRc because PayPal do not have any of my documents , I turn 18 around September so I guess then they can try verify my account but either way the world moves on I still get my money, Santander loose out on a loyal customer who has banked with them for just over a month 🤙0 -

If a bank 'suspects' fraud they will take action to minimise customer losses. If a bank suspects a transaction looks suspicious (according to their algorithms) they will take action to minimise their customer losses. Amataa well done for being business minded at your age, however because in legal terms you are viewed as a 'child' the bank may well be acting cautiously (an overbearing parent) to stop you being the victim of a (perceived) scam. Have they asked you or your parents for any information?May you find your sister soon Helli.

But that’s just me I guess, when people know more information about you especially your parents there outlook changes and they just ask a whole leap of questions which quite frankly I don’t really have time to discuss or dispute over, id rather be me and tell me what the best next move is.TripleH said:If a bank 'suspects' fraud they will take action to minimise customer losses. I saw that many solicitors (and presumably banks) view tax evasion as a form of money laundering. Trying to dodge HMRC makes things very suspect, and I’d imagine many banks would want to distance themselves from you and your business
If you are importing the sneakers I’d check to make sure your paying the vat and duties due. If you’ve been avoiding these you may get a painful bill when they catch on
could be wrong, but I wonder if these sneakers are being sold accurately, ie are they the brand they purport to be, or could they be considered counterfeit0 -
Yeah I do tend to pay taxes through shipping companies such as ups prior to arrival at Heathrow. But hey I don’t know of any taxes I should actually pay , hmrc clearly state the sale of personal items under 5000-6000 are tax free . All these shoes I sell tend to be fully sold out and hence deadstock I buy a few pairs sell for anything from 1.5 to 5 times the price. These are all personals and I buy a few so I can afford to cover the cost of one shoe that I add to my collection. What’s your thoughts on this reckon I’m liable to pay taxes ?mwarby said:I saw that many solicitors (and presumably banks) view tax evasion as a form of money laundering. They aren’t personal items if being purchased for resale
the shipping box should have a declaration on them detailing the contents and the value. I know many companies in China in particular will under report the value, say it’s a gift/sample and often say a tablet is a photo frame (a electronic photo frame worth £20 vs a tablet worth £200). Legally you are responsible for that declaration(although it’s difficult to enforce)1 -
