It’s not just the wages - the company has invested heavily into the 2020 season and will now return a large loss instead of a profit.
When you say invested heavily in the 2020 season, without knowing what capital equipment you have invested in I guess the bulk of it will be pitch fees?
Have you aggressively asked for refunds on fees? This has been an important source of cashflow for us recently.
Aside from that we are very happy that we receive the job retention scheme grant even though it is based on a small wage element. My plan is to get part time work whilst furloughed as soon as it is safe to do so, until the event trade returns.
