We sure did. They replied that ABTA have suspended their guidance. We rejected this claim and are just awaiting our deadline before we file.0

I booked a trip to Portugal 4 x flights with Ryanair and hotel, transfers etc all with on the beach. I've received a refund for hotel and transfers, but OTB wont refund flights until they have received money back from ryanair. I paid with my CC and M & S advised as I paid a direct payment to OTB the chargeback or section 75 does not apply, we paid in full at time of booking, we filed the paperwork with ryanair on 27th March requesting full cash refund and still waiting, anyone any idea how long they are asking people to wait, surely OTB could refund people?0

Just thought I would give an update and a little reassurance, just had an e-mail from OTB telling me how much my refund (Flight costs) was going to be and to log into my account to collect. I have been in and collected it, depending on my bank it should hit my account between 3 to 7 working days. I will keep you posted0

Hello everyone. I need a help whit OTB. We book a holiday for 13 August and we pay deposits of £200. But after that we see in the news how people sleep on the beach because OTB was book a hotel which is still shut /about corona virus/. So we like to canceled the booking, but OTB wanna to pay £120 more just for cancel the booking. So the total amount for canceled will be £320. Any one can help me to get full of my money back ?Thanks0

If they cancel the booking then they're obliged to refund you.
Research independently whether the hotel is actually closed or not - if it's open then all is good, but if it's closed, present evidence of this to OTB and ask them what alternative (if any) they can offer.0 -

They didn’t take our last payment and emailed us on 24th March telling us our holiday had been cancelled. I’ve been trying to get our money back for our flights ever since. They won’t give me any time frame as to when we can expect a refund and just keep saying that they’ve got to wait for A refund from the airline before they can refund us.llaney63 said:I had holiday booked with otb to fly on 8th April. Otb cancelled it and told me i would get refund. The hotel and transfer refund was almost immediate, unfortunately the flight refund still hasnt been made. Have messaged otb 3 times and they say cant refund flight money until they recieve from easyjet and to be patient. I messaged easyjet while flight although still showing on site, was cancelled status. They said refunded to otb and they would refund as package deal.

ive just got an Email from onthebeach saying they will pay me out of their own pocket if i assign my rights to the refund from Ryanair to them (they said this is so that i dont get the refund as well as the money from them). After signing this I looked on my booking paperwork and when i look under refunds it shows no refund due. I am going to leave it for 1 week then try to contact them again.0
