We sent a letter of action (supported by our legal cover) and hounded them constantly on social media. It took 3 weeks but we got a cash refund.2

Unfortunately, it’s highly unlikely that I will be able to travel within the next 12-months. Also, it’s inevitable that the cost of travel will increase and the credit for my cancelled holiday won’t cover the price of a new holiday.Secret Escapes are acting against their own Terms & Conditions, which offer a full refund. And yes they are profiteering because as it transpires they have not paid the hotels or airlines. Like other UK businesses, they should furlough staff where necessary, access other available support, stop wasting money on advertising....... and adhere to their T&C.There are thousands of people like me in the same position.....now thousands of pounds out of pocket. It’s in the hands of Trading Standards.1

I am disgusted with Secret Escapes and the way they have treated us when Flybe went into administration. They gave us no information whatsoever and we ended up booking alternative flights at a cost to ourselves. I am now in the process of taking them to the small claims court. Their reviews on Twitter, Trust pilot etc are absolutely disgraceful. Surely something needs to be done to stop them getting away with this poor service?

Really disappointed with secrete escapes Hotel closed due to covid pandemic agreed to a full refund but not received payment for booking advised me to contact secrete escapes but after several Emails and calls still no refund. As a nurse working on the front line in Accident and Emergency throughout this pandemic I didn't think I'd be treated so badly by a company I've used and recommend in the past

I want £2,917 refund, not a credit note for 75%.
The cheeky fukwits still sending me spam "We can't wait to welcome you back" Yeah right, I hope we will all remember to boycott Secret Escapes (and Exoticca) if and when we book again."A nation's greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members." ~ Mahatma Gandhi
