Thanks, I've had a look and, it's not the one I was thinking about but I think it will do very nicelyfionaandphil said:Was it Supercook @zafiro19844 -
I thought they used leek layers instead of pasta, is this a different version? I found the leek layers were impossible to cut through so ended up dragging the layer separators out when I served it, which put me offjoedenise said:Got a Lidl £1.50 box yesterday which was mainly fruit; the only veg was a few potatoes, couple of baking potatoes and an aubergine. Think a jacket potato will definitely make an appearance this week. Have decided to make the Hairy Bikers diet lasagne for dinner tonight to use the aubergine and will also use a couple of courgettes from the garden - this is a carb free lasagne as the aubergines and courgettes are used instead of the pasta.Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £10,020.92 out of £6000 after September

We are (hopefully) coming to the end of the beekeeping activity for this year (it's been hell, but lots of honey) and I am hopeful that I can spend a little while on these forums again, after being MIA since May!
Half a pack of chipolatas were grilled and eatn with salad, cold new potatoes and half a small garlic stick each, last night. Apart from the time (8pm, a bit late for me), it was all good.
I've got minced beef out of the freezer and will add courgettes to it in addition to the usual for this evening (and maybe tomorrow too)Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £10,020.92 out of £6000 after September

It might have been leeks but I've definitely seen an aubergine layer one somewhere and thought it was HB! I certainly worked well although DH did miss the pasta so perhaps I should have done both! He's also said can we have a day without courgettes please!!!! We seem to have courgettes every day at the moment and I've still got several in the fridge to use with many more coming and I've only got 3 plants (one of which was supposed to have been a butternut squash but turned out to be courgette!).Suffolk_lass said:

I chop courgettes into 1-2cm cubes and freeze 3 to a bag for winter lunches of courgette soup - (2 onions, 2 carrots, a stick of celery and a bag of frozen courgettes, with a few herbs, a stock jelly and water - then blitzed). Also carb free but tasty, warming and fillingSave £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £10,020.92 out of £6000 after September

You can dry courgettes to use in muffins and breads, even biscuits.4

I already do this with anything I cook using mince - uses up lots of veg, not just the courgettes! I think anything I make with mince has at least 3 or 4 different veg in it depending on what odd bits there are in the fridge!Suffolk_lass said:I've added loads of chopped courgettes to the spot the meat chilli I have made for tonight and the freezer3 -
I use to use Supercook but it went away a few years ago. I have not found any other similar but my g/son told me about one the students use for their "school" work and it is brill for recipes, just ask and it lets you update your ? e.g. gives good rec but you can then say no tomatoes if they were in the ingredients. It is of course free. ChatGPT go in clicking the Google button no need to sign up. I asked for ideas using faggots yesterday (yes I have had for years) and it came up with a few I would not have thought of. Cottage/shepherds pie tonight using faggot.
