Cutting your own hair . . .

Has anyone cut their own hair yet? How did it go? Does anyone have any tips? I have to bite the bullet soon as things are getting out of hand . :( Have got some clippers so may try a simple No. 1 on the sides, No.2 on top though suspect it will not go well ...

I accidentally cut my hair on the wrong settings over the weekend. The lot came off, I'm now completely bald.

The positive thing about it is, I was losing my hair for some time. It wasn't patchy or anything, but you could tell I was losing it.
Now i'm completely bald, I think it looks a lot better. I think I may keep it this way.
