CYNERGY BANK - PLEASE HELP!

    I am disgusted with Cynergy Bank and the fact they they did not do as they said they would.
    I was recently contacted about what did I want to do with my pending Cash ISA maturity. I replied in a Secure message online that I wished to transfer it to their Online ISA which I had just opened an account and been accepted for.  I had a reply to say that it would be transferred to their Variable ISA Account they had set up for me (Interest 0%!!!) on maturity from which I would be able to transfer it to the Online ISA account.
     At maturity day I saw nothing had happened so I phoned and was told it would be done at close of business.  That night I went online and saw it had been reinvested into another 1 year Fixed ISA from which I can't move it!!! 
    My secure sent messages are meant to be answered within 3 days it says on their website but none of my sent emails since 10th August (7 days ago now) have been answered.  I will be phoning in the morning to complain about this and the fact they didn't carry out my instructions which they said they were going to do.
    I have taken print screens of all the messages in case they decide to suddenly disappear. I will be moving my ISA elsewhere as soon as I am able .
    I trust they will be able to move it out of the 1 yr Fixed place they have put it into , into where they said they would so I can move it elsewhere. 
    Warning - don't use this Bank. I am hoping that they will sort this out.

    There customer service is not operating.

    Problems with this bank. My l year easy Access Account matured last Saturday. Rang them Friday 28th and was promised money would be in my bank by Tuesday, last. No money arrived. Rang on Wed and again promised it would be there by this morning Friday. Still nothing there. Rang again this morning. My sight is not good as Ihave Glaucoma and young man agreed this should have been settled days ago.Told him I cannot operate their complicated app. Now been promised it will arrive next Monday.  I am 83 and this is my life savings.   Can anyone advise what I can do from her. I,m besides myself with worry. Thank you

    I posted in another thread that I've been unable to access my account since they introduced the latest security measure. The app doesn't work on my iPhone and I requested a digi-pass which took two months to arrive and that didn't work either.  The guy I spoke to in CS said it was a common issue and made up the majority of their calls. I transferred it in the end and wouldn't go near them again.

    I'm rid of them at last by writing to the Chaseside address. Payment of balance  was soon on account, but I have not received a final statement breaking down  capitaland interest included.
    I'm trying to fathom some various earlier issues' documentation The over all rates were 1.28%. 1.47% amd 1.50%.Does anyone know what were the opening and expiry dates of each issue, please?

  • I opened an online account yesterday and thought I would try giving them a quick call today, as I did not receive an email to confirm my registration, even though I received the account number at the end of my registration.  My wife received hers, but I didn't.  What concerns me, is that I rang twice and the phone has been put down on me, before it was even picked up.  Is this normal? Is this a warning not put any money into this bank account. Any advise could be helpful as I read a bit about it on this website first. 
  • Same problem. I’ve had this account for a year and not been able to get to my money for over 8 months ( hundreds of call s ) no one at Cymergu  has a clue how to help me I too have written to them to close my account

    Do you think i can find that link?
    An alternative solution is to ask for a DIGI PASS that gives you a log in code, not requiring QR Code authentication.
    I rang up saying i was having authentication issues, so they sent me one in the post. 
    Yes i had to wait a further week, but atleast i now have access to my account.

    Have you tried the link called  "Trouble logging into Online Banking"? You will need to scroll down, the link is grey and actually looks normal text.  I missed it and had to call them up as could not it find  (my error).  I have just registered my handheld authenticator thingy.
