sky mobile: new s20+ rcs advanced messaging not working in Samsung messages

I've bought a new s20+ however, the rcs advanced messaging is not working in Samsung messages (the message equivalent). The function seems to be missing. In my old s10 the function was there. I've updated the os and apps. nothing seems to be working. can anyone on e sky mobile check for me. no response on their own help forums and the telephone support is busy at the moment.
I have reset the phone too.

First check is does SKY support it . Can find no info that it does .

it is supposed to, samsung messages, google messages all support it in the uk. I'm trying to see if anyone else has the issue.

I said do the network support it .
First, your carrier must support the protocol.

Sorry not a clue then if Sky support it and you have it enabled in settings .
Try Samsung forums or XDA forum .

I have seen people saying they can only get it working when on wifi though, it doesn't seem to work with with mobile data on the S20s.
