Not really Ebays fault......Hi, thanks for your comment.1. Yes, clearly I didn't research enough otherwise I wouldn't have listed an expensive item on Ebay knowing that I could easily lose it to a fraudulent Buyer. That's exactly why I started this thread, in the hope that new or inexperienced Ebay Sellers might read it and be able to make an informed decision whether to take the risk or not.Unfortunately Ebay doesn't warn people, in fact I spoke to an Ebay Customer Service Rep last week, via online chat, he assured me Ebay would protect me;I explained that I was planning to sell my Laptop using their service. I asked if I did everything correctly would I be protected? So you make sure I'm protected? There's no way I can lose my laptop or money? They answered very clearly "Yes, we are sure".2. You said I didn't do everything in an Optimal Way, can you explain what you mean? it might help others if you can provide some tips on the best way of selling or where I went wrong.

A few get run over, sometimes its their fault, sometimes its a bad driver.Yes, now I'm standing on the kerb saying "Be careful it's dangerous crossing the road here".

because you are wasting your time, inexperienced ebay sellers won't come here and read your warning. Just like you didn't.
The questions that get the best answers are the questions that give most detail....1 -

Although it's obviously caught a lot of attention with over 1800 views and your comments have helped bump it, thanks.Obviously, for some reason, you're not keen on me posting my warning here, although the forum category is "Ebay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales"Could you suggest a better place to post it?

I better rephrase that... Can you suggest a better category to place it in rather than "Ebay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales"

Lazydayz I think you have now made your views very well known as they seem to be in every thread I have read so perhaps now you would like to stop posting as you keep getting similar answers from most people. We get it. You have been scammed and feel hard done by. There is nothing anyone on here can do to change this but as you say we have been warned.
