My first ISA allocation for 2020/2021 will likely go into an infrastructure investment trust
HICL has held up well for me and they expect to be able to pay the 5% dividend yield for the rest of this year.

Some of the asset revenues are demand-based and have debt covenants, so if the toll roads in France and USA are still suffering a dearth of traffic and there's still nobody traveling on HS1 by Q4 this year, things will get tighter. The portfolio assets have no legal obligation to cross subsidise each other but if there's light at the end of the tunnel you could imagine them cancelling next year's dividends and putting more money in to the assets facing trouble.

INPP like HICL initially held up well to mid-March, then price fell off a cliff for a few days, then bounced back to a more reasonably depressed price. Their update last week was not too bad either, they obviously have some project delays and demand-based assets with unknown future, but other things have revenues not linked to usage and will be fine.

Those two are my only pure play broad infrastructure funds - I do have a small amount in Gore Street's energy storage fund but it's a small fund and highly specialist in the types of assets it holds.

    Cheers
I have HICL on my watchlist but hadn't looked at INPP. I also have an eye on GRID - also energy storage.

I've recently opened positions in BARC and RDSB.  Once my bonus is in, potentially RBS as well since this is a long term game.  I would like to hold SPCE, but that's more of a whim rather than any other reason, and a good job its not available on my platform!  In reality, I'll probably top up my holdings in my 100% LifeStrategy over most of the 2020/2021 tax year.

I have added BAE systems and  Drax Group, both of which I feel are stable enough to ride this wave and continue growth long term.

Added to my holding in PNL. I've watched my infrastructure, property and private equity take a pounding but unconcerned at present.
