The coronavirus pandemic has led to the closure of gyms across the country, but that doesn't mean we can't stay fit. There are loads of free apps, online tools and resources that can help you to exercise and look after your health and wellbeing at home — particularly helpful if you're self-isolating.

The NHS has some great home exercise advice for both body and mind that's free and may be worth linking in the guide. They are all linked from https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/
The main page is https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/nhs-fitness-studio/
But there are also the following links from that page:

I needed some really basic exercise and have really come on using fit 4 50 and can recommend for people starting from having little fitness. If isolating goes on for Much longer I may get really fit!

I'd recommend exercising at home. I do a whole one-hour Pilates class indoors every 2–3 days – have been doing Pilates for a lengthy time so know lots of exercises, and the correct way to do them. That's interspersed with longish walks alone, to places where there are very few, if any, people, easily avoided. Thoroughly recommend this.0

I find YouTube really annoying due to intrusive advertising, albeit those posting their videos get a cut from that money. One source I would like to highlight is DAREBEE, which provides hundreds of workouts, recipes, stretching routines, challenges and exercise descriptions and even built in timers on their website, which is all **fantastic and FREE** (but donations welcome). They also have Android apps (not sure about ios) and are also on YouTube.

Versus arthritis are running an online fitness course ‘let’s move with leon’
graded adapted exercises. I’ve only done a bit of the first week and really felt it. Slow but deadly.0 -
I have dabbled in Yoga for several years through my gym membership but due to on and off lockdowns and being unable to access gym sessions, have got out of the habit.
Being furloughed (restaurant industry) I have lacked the motivation to get any exercise at home started. I do walk regularly but found I needed something more and this morning I found just the thing! On You Tube, I have dabbled in Adriennes Yoga sessions on and off especially when suffering with back pain, so she was my first search on there and I found a 30 day Yoga Journey which she began on Jan 1st this year.
So pleased I motivated myself to do Day 1 this morning and fully intend to complete the 30 days. Not like Im doing anything else. Would highly recommend!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSIp00SewO8

Exercise is so important for mental health. I wish we lived somewhere warmer so that outdoor exercise could be more enjoyable at the moment!0
