No, reply and make it clear you DO NOT agree to a hearing on the papers.

Good thing i asked. Reading Order 2, I presumed that I had to write to the court only if i wanted a hearing on the papers.

    Would an email suffice?

You are right of course - doing nothing should result in the idea of a 'on the papers' hearing being abandoned.

But it would make your position absolutely clear if you were to reply saying that. Don't leave it to chance.

Yes, email is fine. Send a copy to the Claimant.

Yes that was why I suggested it.  I prefer to make it clear to the court that it is a firm NO, just in case the Claimants email and suggest that it can proceed on the papers and the court make a mistake and think you've agreed.

No , that would go to the CCBC in Northampton , they washed their hands of it when they passed it to your nominated local court

Check your court orders and your court website for details , if a court has been allocated , which I doubt

The court orders you received should have contact details on them

I've now received a hearing date. What evidence does the forum suggest i send in as a minimum?
