MET parking services

My car was in for repair and I was driving a hire car from the insurance company. On 13/3 I went to McDonalds in Fishponds Bristol for breakfast.  I have now received a email copy via car hire of a parking ticket that was issued by MET parking services for over staying by 17 minutes. The insurance company took £60 immediately to cover there admin cost plus METparking want £100 reduced to £50 if paid within 14 days. I have tried many times to ring MET parking and to access their appeal website but to no avail and also to contact McDonalds head office.
I am a disabled lady and I use a disable blue parking badge  and as a result of my disability I take longer to walk, to eat and so on.
How do I contact MET parking? Nobody answer and the website is useless. Do I wait till MET parking send me a paper copy of the parking ticket?  The insurance company said that they would reimburse me the £60 if I was successful in appealing the ticket.
What should I do next? Anyone had any dealing with MET parking   they seem a rouge bunch.

. I have tried many times to ring MET

Never ever phone a scammer, everything  on paper.  If this gets to court you will need a paper trail, have you not read the newbies at the top of the index page?.

There are thousands of posts on here about met, all you need do is look for them.

Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams, so consider complaining to your MP, it can cause the scammer extra costs and work, and has been known to get the charge cancelled.

Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.

Hopefully, when life gets back to normal, it will become impossible for those scammers who are left to continue their vile trade, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies.

You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

you need to have a good read of the newbies thread ... there are section regards hire cars

have you appealed to the manager at Mc's ? and to the CEO .... not customer services ....

you will have to look through the terms and conditions on the hire docs. I bet they don't mention parking invoices.....

Do not ring PPC scammers ... ever , everything in writing or email.

In the newbies thread / discussion it details every thing that the PPC must do  correctly please read ....

there will be a plethora of discussions re Met try a few forum searches .....

so ..... first appeal to Mc's

second send the appeal in the newbies thread .... the blue one ....

third ... do the reading I have suggested ...

    good luck
