ISA Matured Funds

I have an ISA Matured Funds account that ISA funds were automatically transferred into by the building society when the ISA matured. The ISA matured some time ago. Can these ISA Mature Funds be transferred into another ISA in the same way the ISA itself could have been transferred? And can I then still use this year's ISA allowance to open another new ISA in addition to that transfer?

Yes if the money is still in an ISA wrapper then you should be able to request a transfer as normal to a new ISA provider. If you haven't contributed to a Cash ISA this tax year you should be fine to also contribute into a new Cash ISA account. Transfers of previous tax year ISA contributions don't count as new contributions and can be done into different new ISA accounts.1
