Hi, I put my tax return in on the 6th of April It has calculated that I have repayment due back of 1015.20. Nothing is coming up about request payment. Am I right I’m thinking this amount will automatically be repayed without the need to request?0

Mine’s the same, tells me what I am due back but I didn’t need to click to request a payment. I spoke to HMRC on live chat yesterday and they confirmed it would automatically be sent to my bank.Time2change said:Hi, I put my tax return in on the 6th of April It has calculated that I have repayment due back of 1015.20. It maybe credited by the 17th but as previously stated due to 2 days of Bank Holidays i say from 20th onwards0

Just to give you an idea, I submitted mine last year on 29th April and my refund was in my account on 13th May, so it took a full 10 working days to receive. This year I submitted on the 6th April, so I am guessing it will be the 22nd April, as two working days are lost to bank holidays this weekend.Although, having said that May 6th was a bank holiday last year too so it could have been 9 working days. They are usually pretty fast regardless.

Filed my tax return on the 8th and requested payment today. Fingers crossed for fast payments this year. I received mine on the 18th April last year0
