Gers haven't got a clue as to when they are open or not as there was no sign on the door, but happily Mr Fix It's were ready for collection, when DD happened to drive past on the off chance. Mine are somewhere and I know that my script was collected by the pharmacy when I rang my surgery this morning. I am more than happy to wait longer for mine now I know that Mr Fix It has his. We can at least breathe a sigh of relief.I did notice that DD looked shattered as she is still expected to work from home even if she is not in school. She also has to phone a number of parents everyday to check on their children in case they have problems. Above and beyond comes to mind, she's our little angel
Right I've calmed down somewhat and I have a very large bottle of wine in the fridge with my name on it ! Apologies for my ranting and moaning today. Hopefully normality will be up and running tomorrow

NAN I heard an interview with a pharmacist this afternoon and one of the points he raised about closing at unscheduled times was so that they could clean and disinfect the premises to keep both themselves and their customers as safe as they could, with footfall so high. He also mentioned they were doing their best to keep people's prescriptions dispensed as quickly as they could and, once they appeared to be getting a backlog, they had no option but close to get on top of them. I felt quite sorry for him when he went on to say that most customers were accepting of this but others thought nothing of abusing him and his staff when all they were doing was their best under the circumstances. (I'm not insinuating that you would be one to hurl abusive btw NAN!!) xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"13

Hi everyone, just having a catch up
I'm with all the grannies worrying our little ones won't know us when all this is over. I love how my little grand daughter smiles and shouts and hold her arms up for a cuddle when she sees me....I don't want her thinking 'who's that?' when I finally get to see her again!
She's on her way to the hospital with DD - there's a problem with one of the blood tests she had last week so she has to be admitted again. Trouble is, she now has a chest infection so she has to have a test for the virus before she can be admitted to the ward. I'm going to be white before this is all over!
I did some cleaning this morning and have had several phone and text chats.. I went for a nice long walk through the fields this afternoon - the view across the sea was beautiful - you wouldn't have thought the word was in such a mess. Then I sat out in my back garden and finished my book.
Oh, someone mentioned the 'houseparty' app - my daughter in Sweden and I were using it to play daft games - she rang this afternoon to tell me to delete it - apparently it's not very secure and peoples' phones are being hacked.
Well better get my dishes done - 'see' you all tomorrow

TA I saw that too and I wouldn't think of taking them on, it's not in my nature and they are doing the best they can.( They'd only lose anyway !! ) Only joking
but I would have just liked a sign on the door, even hand written, to say closed for now, please try later or leave a message on their phone. dp1 I hope your DGD is ok. Poor little dab, she's going through the wringer again. I think we'll all be white at the end from worrying and/or being unable to buy our colours in a bottle
I think I'm going to have another glass of wine now, " soz ish goodnite from me both Hic !!Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently9
