On 25 February at 12:46AM - that's a direct link, click on it - I explicitly stated:...you have until 4pm on Monday 23rd March 2020 to file your Defence.
You've had four weeks to write a Defence - crazy!!2 -
Work shutdown and related COVID issues ... last thing I need to be thinking about. And us! Try frantically escaping a South Africa COVID lockdown, climbing over bodies in JNB airport trying to find the very last available flights out to get us back to the UK at ~£10k for two, eye-watering costs, then straight back here advising people how to avoid a £100 parking charge. Now that would be the last thing you'd really need to be thinking about! Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Also post a copy to the CCBC 1st class (normal post but with proof of posting from the PO counter) as the office is closed, and you want to be sure it arrives before any application for default judgment. You can make that trip as an essential part of your daily walk.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams, so consider complaining to your MP, it can cause the scammer extra costs and work, and has been known to get the charge cancelled.
Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.
Hopefully, when life gets back to normal, it will become impossible for those scammers who are left to continue their vile trade, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies.
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.1 -
No way to print it out unfortunately. But I have emailed the defence and received an automated acknowledgement from CCBC. Hopefully it will be accepted in the circumstances -Coupon-mad said:Also post a copy to the CCBC 1st class (normal post but with proof of posting from the PO counter) as the office is closed, and you want to be sure it arived before any application for default judgment.
