Hi all,
To share my experience with Wizz Air: I had two lots of flights booked with them for April/May. The first lot were cancelled back in March and I requested the voucher then requested the funds transfer and I'm still waiting after 63 days so fingers crossed this should arrive soon...
The second lot of flights were cancelled in April and this time instead of requesting the voucher and funds transfer online, I phoned them directly and requested a refund. I then received the money back on my card within 14 days. So if anyone is reading this and had had their flight cancelled I'd recommend just phoning them straight away instead of doing it online.0 -

I can confirm that I received my online refund today after 64 days1

Yes, I also got mine now too! It was just over 60 days too in the end.0

I got an email on 14th April to say my refund is being processed, as it's now July it's been about 90 days since that, so judging by you guys all saying you received yours after 60 days mine is now late. Did you just receive it in your wizz air online account or by bank transfer to the card you paid with?
Also how can I chase this up? Did anyone have any success doing this on the phone without it costing a small fortune in money and time?
Thanks0 -
Finally got my money back after around 85 days, refund going to the original payment credit card. I did chase them up after c.60 days via their online complaints systems, which I thought they responded to reasonably quickly and professionally. They also had the courtesy to apologies for their delay. Overall while I'm not delighted with them I did not find it too difficult, although it did take a long time. Now Ryanair is a different matter!

Did everyone who got their money back get them full amount they paid or did wizz keep the admin fees etc? Mine is short by £27 and I’m wondering what experience other people had?0

Sorry to be resurrecting an old thread with maybe a stupid question.
We are flying back to UK from FuerteVentra with WizzAir next week. Done online checkin and ended with a boarding card and we have to go to Wizz Air checkin desk at the airport to validate our documents and get our boarding passes.
Does this apply to all WizzAir flights? Maybe a covid documentation 'thing'?0 -
