Tomorrow, I want you to start the month by doing something silly. Not slip-and-tumble-down-the-stairs sort of silly; more something that makes you giggle. Wear a tea towel on your head like a nativity shepherd while you wash up. Get out the feather duster and tickle your children. Tickle your children anyway. Watch utube clips that make you laugh. Play musical statues/chairs/bumps.

Toni'sfriend - Am doing ok for now. My mh was bad due to a health issue which was not sorted out for 10 months. I found something myself which help with the health issue. Was discharged from the consultant from the hospital. Still none the wiser what has caused the health issue - gp's/consultants given me an different answers. At least I can go back to work full time when I can/able in the current situation.
apple_muncher - Thank you.
Aiming for 20 NSD’s.
Have enough food in for quite a few weeks. Did a big shop last week which I usually have done in the past. Only got what I needed. Will only need to do food top up shops if and when necessary. My anxiety was bad last week as I had not been out for a food shop since people were panic buying.
Budgets for each category that I have planned.Monthly DD has already been set up for money into savings and my bills account. Have been doing for quite a few years.
Will be extra careful regarding unnecessary spending.
Not working at the moment, but have things in for lunch and I have a flask to bring my own tea and reusable flask for water if the opportunity arises.
Will try my best to keeping up to date with housework.
Be generous – Will make a donation to a charity.
Do check in everyday – will do.
Post your gratitudes. I’m upping this to 5 please – will do.

Morning all. Welcome to the newbies and welcome back to Kerry_woman.Plan to do some baking today and possibly a bike ride, hope to get my washing dry outside if it brightens up. Will do some cleaning and spend some time with the kids, I hope to get them both out with the dog today but he won't want to go far as DH and I walked him for a few miles yesterday. One thing I think worth mentioning is that when out walking to be careful when giving people a wide berth, we saw someone narrowly avoid being hit by a van yesterday, this stupid virus is way less deadly than a van doing 40 mph.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Going to get in early with my first update. Today isn't a NSD, I have ordered a couple of birthday cards online be sent directly to the recipients, needed to do it for a while and thought there is no time like the present! I am also going to spend on a medical purchase of a back brace, I have a curve in my spine that is causing a lot of pain, can't get to physio for obvious reasons so am buying this, if it works out it could potentially help cut down on physio costs in the future too. Budget is set, debts paid and money sent to savings.
Today I am grateful for a lovely sunny morning walk, hearing the birdsong and a woodpecker, having more time on my hands while WFH, my house rabbits who are just endlessly amusing, and most importantly for health and wellbeing.11 -
Budget set for the month. Only spends are bills and food. All other budgets removed (apart from annual savings ones like insurance)
food delivery coming tonight, will re jiggle meal plan based on what arrives.Today's gratefuls:

Happy April to all Turtles.
Feast/Famine - I am dieting in April. So a self-imposed famine of sorts, but I have planned a celebratory feast for when I have lost another 3lbs and go down a stone bracket. Then back on the wagon and carry on. Celebrating the small victories in these crazy times.
Frugal food–Pretty much everything is being made from scratch, even a sourdough bread culture, all meals are eaten together, I have spent very little since all this started, and I am going to carry on with it. Even though I am pretty frugal on a day to day basis, I have cut a lot more by going shopping late and hoovering up the ys bargains. I had fallen out of this habit lately. I think I can half my weekly budget now I am not buying prepackaged nonsense for lunchboxes. So £50 a week for 6 people.
Frugal Fun - Board games we already own are free to play! Scrabble is educational, my dvd mountain will be reduced, I am still working my way through my book stash, then filling the charity shop bags with them.
Finances – no debt – only a mortgage, which is being overpaid and I am saving for much needed house repairs.
Fitness – I am a victim of pollen poisoning, so might try a bit of online stuff. Kids are loving Joe Wicks in the morning. Moisturising and drinking water.
Gratitudes - Hot water bottles / whoever invented the fridge, I salute you / garlic / ys carnations (32p a bunch) / none of us being sick / today being NSD1 / Apple for running April.
