Does anyone know just what channels you get on TV without an internet connection? I know all about tethering my phone and mobile routers etc etc but is there anything other than the 4 main channels we can watch without doing connecting up anything except an aerial? TIA

If you have a functioning aerial you will get freeview channels profided either your TV has a freeview tuner or you have a box to go with the TV. Nearly all modern TVs have a freeview tuner.
PS Isn't it 5 main channels?0 -
"Main" channels is the PSB ones, primarily BBC One, Two, ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5 that, because of PSB privilege, get dibs at the top of EPG listings on all platforms. In the old days they were the only channels you could get on an terrestrial TV.0

260 with freesat plus pause and record functions (which don’t require the internet)
even sky tv doesn’t need the internet (except for catch up and box sets)0
