Mot test extension

Hi, my sons mot runs out today, but we are all in self isolation. Does anyone know if this will be taken into account as the 6 month extension doesn't start till 30th March. Alternatively will we be able to present his car for test when we come out of self isolation?

Yes, that's how I read the proposal.

There was a consultation on that a couple of years ago. Along with making the first MOT at 4 years. Both were rejected at the time.
