Hi Mr xxx,
Thanks for getting in touch about your parking ticket. I’m really sorry you ended up getting a ticket when you were our guest.
I’m afraid, though, this car park is controlled by a third party parking company. I know they’ve put controls in place to try to stop people who aren’t guests at the restaurant parking there and taking spaces meant for customers, but I’m sorry you’ve had a penalty charge.
However, as you’re one of our customers, if you could let me have a few details, I’ll see if I can assist you further:the PCN number of the ticket and its time and date
which restaurant you were parked at
the number of your KFC till receipt and when the time on it
confirm that you have appealed
Unfortunately there’s no guarantee they’ll be able to waive your ticket and if you’ve already paid the ticket, we can’t get the company to cancel it.
Let us know and we’ll certainly try our best for you.
With all best wishes,
xxxxxxx

Ideally you need to find out who owns the land. You can get a good idea from asking the council who pays the non domestic business rates. For a definitive answer you may need to pay for a copy of the Land Registry entry, which will cost you under a fiver.

I too think that KFC's reply is very promising. They're being fairly straight with you by the sounds of it so the immediate course of action is to take their words at face value and provide the details they ask for.3

If they fail, write bad stuff on their feedback page, Facebook, TripAdvisor, etc.You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0

I have sent them all information asked for, they replied with....
"We have applied for the fine to be cancelled. It can take a few days for confirmation to come through - but as soon as we have any information we'll be in touch with you."
today recieved a reply with...
"We have not canceled this parking charge for you.
Any issues, let me know."0 -
