You'll find most seasoned users of the Telephone Boards use either TalkTalk or Onetel for the evening calls and 18866 for daytime calls.

I signed for TalkTalk last year when they offered free evening and w/end calls and use 18866 for my daytime calls. Onetel then brought out a similar offer this year, however, both are now finished.

You can get free w/end calls though with both suppliers, UK 01/02 calls from midnight Friday to midnight Sunday. Onetel offer you £20 credit if you sign up online and TalkTalk give you £10 credit if someone refers you and you can then sign up your friends and gain £10 for yourself.

As a few of my friends are on TalkTalk I will probably stay with them after my year is up as I can talk to them at anytime of the day for three hours for free.

Should you decide to sign up for Onetel please use the MSE link in Martin's post here as although the offer is finished that link is still operational and is an affiliate link which means that MSE gets a small contribution which enables Martin to keep MSE ad free, run the forums and donate to charity.

....Onetel offer you £20 credit if you sign up online and TalkTalk give you £10 credit if someone refers you and you can then sign up your friends and gain £10 for yourself.
OneTel also give out £20 credit for referring someone to both the existing customer and the new one. I know as we got £40 credit off them for it. We signed-up online late at night when their sales line had shut and a few weeks later I rung up and complained that I hadn't received my £20 credit for being referred to them. After a few grumps, etc they agreed to credit me even though they had already give me £20 credit for signing-up online.

I don't know if they still do this now as £40 is a lot of money to them.
