Another update on DS's shopping expedition. When he finally got in the store after his over hour and a half of queuing he said, as there were less shoppers being allowed in at any one time, it was all quite civilised and shoppers obeying by the 2 metre rule. Sadly the same could not be said about some of the staff he said! He had got as far as the trolleys outside the door when a staff member came out with a cup of coffee and asked the trolley man to hold it whilst she lit a cig!! He looked askance at her! She got the message and mogged off in a huf!! I despair!
As far as my little list was concerned, no GoCat for Sparkle but no immediate panic for that so he will look next time he goes. No black grapes so got me red and no vine cherry tomatoes so got me vine bigger tomatoes! Otherwise my little list complete and he says he got all they needed.for their tribe.
DD back in work tomorrow after days off and is already dreading what it will be like. One of the small wings was closed off earlier in the week as a couple of the old folk were showing possible symptoms. If positive and it spreads, which it is bound to, it could be a death sentence for a lot of the elderly temporarily being looked after in the Resource Centre.
NAN I know just what you mean, my mood is up and down like a bride's knickers these days. xx
Take care all xxx

Update on my day, I bet you're all waiting with bated breath
I'm still on the emotional roller coaster though
Mowed the back lawn and was sitting on the patio with a coffee, enjoying my little self, when ex next door neighbour turned up. I scooted in quick smart, but from what I gathered from the snippet of phone conversation (she's really loud) I think it was about the mess they had left. I waited for her to go, watching from the bedroom window, but it seemed every man/ woman ( minus a dog ) was busy in and out someone else's house today. Stay home !! Apparently it doesn't apply to everyone. Grrr! Rant over.I went back out and chopped down a hedge that had been culled some time ago, but it must be like some kind of triffid as it won't die. I'm going at the roots next, lets see if it can recover from that !Then we had a text this afternoon from DD to say that she had taken DGS to our GP and then to A&E this morning, they think he's ok, they gave him painkillers, but my blood pressure has risen 10 fold. Bless her DD had to go on her own with him as it's usually me that accompanies her while SiL stays home with the other DGC. She's having a lie down now as they have all been up all night so we will speak to her later.Love nan xxFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently11
