  • More research has led me to believe this is called a "lay-off clause", which once inserted into an employment contract effectively puts you onto something akin to a zero hours contract and the employer would no longer be obliged to pay you for your contractual notice period. If you were to go unpaid for over 4 weeks after the end of CJRS then you would only be able to claim statutory redundancy pay [worth very little], nothing more. I'm no expert though, does anyone agree / disagree? Thanks
