It simply means that I am very likely to be right.

Well MCOL is stating the AOS was received today. So I’ll get that defence sorted ASAP and see what happens.

You just need to search the forum for template defence and get it submitted by email.   TONIGHT.

You are still in danger of a default judgment IMHO.

Also then forward a copy to BW Legal.

We don't normally advise that but as the CCBC is closed and you are in danger of a default Judgment, you need to spell it out that the case has been defended and sent to the CCBC following acknowledging it, and so they MUST NOT attempt a default judgment by taking advantage of the CCBC being temporarily closed.

Obviously don't point out when the AOS was done...clearly not!

This has been said yesterday on another thread.  Defendants are a bit in danger, due to the CCBC being closed, even though you WILL get an auto-acknowledgement email, so we need to advise a belt & braces approach at the mo.

Good, now get the template defence done.  Takes about half an hour.

All done for you except a few red bits!

I'm sorry for asking, when can I find the example cases,

-February 2020 Order from District Judge Fay Wright, sitting at Skipton County Court
    -
Deputy District Judge Josephs, sitting at Warwick County Court

to download and attach to defence.
    Thanks in advance

If you followed the link to use the new template defence, the appendices are all there at the bottom of the file that opens in the drop box link.

Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
