So I've already sent them my car registration number and PCN reference number - is that enough? or should i physically send a copy of the NTK they sent?0
-
No i've just sent an email with car reg, PCN reference and an attached, signed letter with my address/contact details.
i will send a photographic copy of the NTK. Thanks0 -
...... and V5C, don't give them any excuse to fail to provide your data. They have 30 days anyway, don't extend it.JPMONMOGM said:No i've just sent an email with car reg, PCN reference and an attached, signed letter with my address/contact details.

i dont have the V5C - sold the car a month ago and the dealer took it. would a V11W be enough?0

The PCN/NTK should be enough in my opinion but I am not a PPC. You could try a scan of your council tax bill to prove your address.1

Hi everyone,
Following my reply to the LBC in March I have now received this letter from Gladstone Solicitors.
I feel I made my position clear in my reply to the LBC and that includes my dispute of the amount due/debt. They have also not replied to the appeal that they asked me to resend them. I am thinking I will ignore this letter and it either fizzles out (unlikely) or the next letter will be from the courts. Or should I dispute the debt via their reply form?
As always I am grateful for your opinions

Never use their form
why not send an obvious reply, along the lines of - why didn't you respond back in March?3 -

I did consider that but then i thought they would just blame delays due to COVID. i also thought what am i gaining by asking them? They had their chance to reply so its either time to let it go or take me to court where they will lose.0 -
You should reply. The Judge will wish to see that you engaged, to narrow the issues. You can email them (search the forum for Gladstones email and please don't post that you don't know it...drives us mad!).
Your March response was good. I'd repeat most of it if I were you.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
