With the massive rise in energy costs its only a toy for the rich
Do they run on gas then ?

Electricity has gone up too, not least because about a third of our elctricity comes from burning gas.
    If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.

A wood fired hot tub build is on my to do list, but when I will get to that point on the list I'm not sure. My rudimentary plans work on a total build cost of under £500 (no jets). The wood I can get more or less free (cost in time and petrol only).

    Sorry to hijack this post.
I have a 5-seater hot tub with a thick insulated cover on the top.
Anyway, I have found  two snails in it on separate occasions.
I wonder if anyone here has any ideas about how they get in, please?
