Partial refund for cancelled season ticket

That’s why I’m here asking if I have any consumer rights to take this further.Aylesbury_Duck said:
It doesn't matter what I would be happy with, it's your choice. Accept the situation or take them to court.SB0893 said:They have said that there are no refunds due them using the money for administrative tasks. Would you be fine with paying for a service and it not being upheld? If it was £10-£20 fair enough but when it’s around £150 which is not a small amount of money.0 -
In the absence of any terms and conditions I don't think it's clear cut hence taking them to court if you want to pursue it. The court will decide if it's you or them that's being unreasonable. That's your right as a consumer.0

You get a discount by purchasing a season ticket. E.g. at Man City it works out at £37 a match as opposed to £55 a match.Personally I think if you cancel your season ticket they should retrospectively charge you the actual price per game you should have paid without a season ticket. You would probably end up owing them money!0

I haven’t cancelled the season ticket, the club did. Would of been fine if the season was postponed. I’m not happy with the fact they decided what to do with the remaining money without contacting me. As many fans given the option to leave it in the club or get a partial refund, a lot of fans would leave it in the club. You pay for a service and if it gets cut short you should be reimbursed for that irrespective of the fact that the price is already cheaper than it would have been.JReacher1 said:You get a discount by purchasing a season ticket. I think its a tricky one, the club didnt cancel, they were forced to. If they reimburse everyone would it put the club out of business? . The club definitely did not want to be in this position, what league is it
I also have a season ticket and have no idea yet if the remaining games will be played, I am not to bothered about a refund although money off next seasons ticket would be nice but given that I am already paying for next seasons on a monthly interest free scheme , I guess that wont happen0 -
£150 for the season ticket? Or £150 is the expected (partial) refund?
If the former then you're looking at a 10% refund ... £15 ... not worth the aggro trying to get it.
If the latter then I can understand ... you've been paying the equivalent of £50 per game. However this is EPL territory money so I can't work out how you get 30 home games in a season. Unless of course you're talking about a different sport. (We've all assumed football).

even in the Prem I wouldnt think many charge more than £30 a game given that is the max they can charge away support ( unless they are premier seats or directors box etc)DoaM said:£150 for the season ticket? Or £150 is the expected (partial) refund?

The sport is Ice Hockey. The season tickets cost over £1200 for the 3 of them.DoaM said:£150 for the season ticket? Or £150 is the expected (partial) refund?

£1200 for 3x tickets, so ~£400 each
30 games per season, so ~£13.33 per game
3 games cancelled so looking for ~£40 per season ticket = £120 total0
