How will you end up homeless? Are you selling somewhere? Are you currently renting?kevc1985 said:To be blunt you don’t know my circumstances. It’s not very helpful commenting when you have nothing helpful to say
As for the purchase of your current home your solicitor is best placed to let you know what's happening next.0 -
I doubt there's any great solution which could be put in place in a short timescale. The system is very much run on the basis that the registers can receive and process paper applications, and significant changes to that would require new legislation (at a time when parliament has other priorities and is trying to shut itself down). The registers will no doubt have had contingency plans for e.g. a particular building being put out of action and having to decant to somewhere else, but possibly not for sending all their employees home and telling them to stay there.kevc1985 said:I don’t understand why a solution for this week had not been put in place before reaching this decision. I need to cancel all the utilities moving across tomorrowIn relation to utilities, usual advice is not to do anything until you've actually moved in (all sorts of other reasons why that can be delayed) and can take meter readings.0
