HI I am employed and have a largely commission based job. So my question would be if the Furlough on my basic salary or average earnings on PAYE? not much clarification at the moment. Any advice would be appreciated.

I didnt know if this had communicated with anyone's employer or officially communicated by HMRC yet.1

Still says “HMRC will set out further details on the information required.”
There is nothing on the HMRC site. I expect they are still working it out.
Apologies if my earlier post came across as tetchy. Everybody is looking for answers but many questions can’t be answered yet.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.1 -
According to Radio 4's moneybox program I think it's going to be based on your earnings in February this year

Does average pay include holiday taken. By this I mean I worked 3 weeks and took 1 weeks paid holiday. I earned £300 a week x3 and recceived £200 holiday for 1week due to zero hours contract. Am I right in thinking my average weekly pay is £275 or is it £225 as holiday pay is not taken into account ?

Please, please, we don't know. And the Moneybox item is just (rather old) speculation.0

As per the reply above as far as I understand it this will be based on earnings over a defined period (yet to be confirmed). The only way they can check this is through PAYE so it makes sense and would cover variable pay. Would make more sense to run it over a longer period though if you ask me.
