Morning.
Had to go to the bank to pay bills.
Lovely Sunny weather here, but apparently we are losing it for snow this weekend
My OH is at work. I work at a school and I have to go in every other day. My daughter who lives in London is a nurse - I do worry about her.
Very quiet when I went out. 3 weeks of this.
Have the best day you can

NAN when we used to have to traipse all the way to Leeds for Bob's monthly injection in the Oncology Dept, his Doctor told him they were training up specialist nurses to give this in community. Sadly this didn't happen in time for him so I don't know if this actually happened but maybe it's worth asking. Though I know Mr Fixit isn't on the same injection there may be something similar happening down your way.
DD cheered me up with a WhatsApp video of youngest DGD doing PE exercises along with Joe Wickes. She is going to do them every day she says! She even suggested DD tell grandma about them then she can do them!! Oh I wish!!! I was full of good intentions of joining in with Diana Moran doing her sit down exercises but that has yet to happen!
Take care and stay safe folks xx

Hi everyone just been reading back over the last couple of days.
I too have lots of jobs to do but have done precisely nothing yet! I felt quite upset last night as DD and baby are still in hospital, she's planning to go straight home and stay there, when they are allowed out. I know people are going through far worse, but all of a sudden I just felt very alone. Never mind, I have been for a long walk and called at my mam's for a little while......they sat at one end of the garage and I stood at the other with the garage door wide open. I'm sure that can't do any harm?
I've ordered enough cat food to last 2 months. Biggest cat was meant to have his booster before the end of March, but that will have to wait.
I'm going to have to walk into town tomorrow as I have a prescription to collect, but will just be careful to keep away from others,
Take care everyone

Afternoon all,
Just a quick visit to wish you all the best in this difficult time, especially those who are worried about loved ones, I am constantly checking on DS2 and his girlfriend who live and work in London......
We are well, OH has his usual cough and I have a slight cold but we are not worried about either.

Afternoon all you lovely peopleHad a bit of a wobble this morning, then nothing went as planned with the lumberjacking
We got the saw thingy on a pole stuck in the tree, the chain wouldn't stay on the big saw and Mr Fix It fell over again, not Ninja style this time, but flat on his backside. He's ok, but took out part of one of the fence panels, so that will have to be fixed as well. It was an old one but replacement will have to wait. Tomorrow we will potter about sorting the sheds and have a day off from felling trees. He lied when he said they were only branches !
His injection has already been sorted as it's a priority, but we don't know what measures are in place in the surgery. Sitting in the waiting room is a no-no because the nurse is always behind even if you're firstRight I shall have a relaxing bubble bath and contemplate my navel, but I don't think I'll find any answers there either. It's lovely to see some old posters returning, but I'm wondering where some of the newer ones have gone. I hope you and all those MIA's are all ok.Nelski where for art thou ? Hope you are ok too.Take care all, hugs aplenty available for careful ownersnan xxFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently13 -
I've just come back for a sit down. I had the bright idea of smashing the block of concrete [well, a mix of house bricks, concrete blocks, cement and a flagstone for luck] that used to house the old line pole so I could make the new bed nearer to the path. Wish I'd never started. After some experimental digging out, the whole area is about a meter square. I've been bashing it on and off with a sledgehammer so I expect I'm going to feel that tomorrow.I also jarred up the remaining kimchi so no ones eyes explode when they open the fridge...Nanny, good to hear his injection is sorted, and stay away from the damn triffid trees!! ENjoy your bath....Nelski is probably busy dancing her conga daily excerciseNon me fac calcitrare tuum culi12

dp1, we can only do our best with the information available. Steve is supposed to stay indoors for 12 weeks but I had to hoick him in from the garden this morning. I wish they would explain the reasoning behind not allowing people into enclosed gardens (the high risk people I mean) because it doesn't seem reasonable to us, if we knew why it would be much easier to comply.10
-
Welll, I expect if the government had to supply a list of garden sizes that were suitable for people to be in, they'd soon be overwhelmed with questions about nothing at all. Just use you judgement, if your neighbours are out, stay in, if they're in, go out.You can be quite near a neighbour and fail to make a safe distance if you're both next to the same fence for example.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi12

I had not heard that about gardens ! We have been in ours for a few days, but we no longer have neighbours on either side and we have quite a large garden anyway. I can't see any problem with that, perhaps we are overthinking things, I certainly am !Gers sorry about your tooth. I hope it never gives you pain before it can be sorted. BTW I meant to ask what happened to the cows which seemed to be in your home garden, beefburgers perhaps
Yes I did check out your pics, I'm getting nosier by the day

The big freezer in my barn does have a quantity of beef mince, steaks and joints in it. Mind you, it also has a box of hogget from the farm and venison from the estate. I must rescue some soon. 😀
Life is even slower now, just when I was gearing up my new hip for spring activities. I need to look forward to summer stuff instead.9
