Parkingeye no outstanding amount

Hi, I received a parkingeye ticket from ANPR a few months ago, I appealed with them and was unsuccessful. They offered my 14 day gesture of goodwill to pay the original £60. I have just gone to pay and it says that there is no outstanding amount for that reference/ticket number. Does that mean that it has been cancelled? Try to ring them but can’t get through! Thanks in advance

Please confirm the name of the PPC. Is it Parking Eye or is it ANPR (or one with a similar name)?

Never ever ring a parking scammer. Did you miss that part of the NEWBIES thread?
More importantly, why are you trying to pay a scammer? Did you take a screenshot/photo where it says nothing to pay? If not, go back and do so.

What happened when you complained to the landowner? Where did this alleged event occur?
Have you complained yet to your MP about this unregulated scam?

Have you checked that you have the correct PCN number?
Did you reveal the driver's identity when you appealed? I hope not.

ParkingEye's signd leave much yo be desired and judges are ruling that they do no form contracts, read this

Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams, so consider complaining to your MP., it can cause the scammer extra costs and work, and in some cases, cancellation.

Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.

Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies.
