It's a fixed account so you're unlikely to have to contact customer service and even then I would always take trustpilot reviews with a mountain of salt.

but I have read some really bad reviews on Trust Pilot

Learn not to rely on Trustpilot.  The reviews are often from people who wouldn't be able to tell good from bad.   And larger firms automatically get more negative reviews because happy people tend not to post any reviews at all.

Investec are an investment house. They have a large range of offerings across the risk scale.   Any comments about them are going to  come from across their range.   They are not strong in some areas but stronger in others.

I've also had accounts with Investec for years, no problems with them at all - one of the better banks to deal with in my opinion.

I've used Investec savings for a while. I initially had problems logging in using their app and my password needed to be reset.  Their customer service chap in South Africa was brilliant, waited patiently while I booted up my laptop and logged into their website via a web browser instead. No complaints here.
  • I've used them for years.  Their customer service is excellent.
  • I was thinking of opening an Investec fixed rated account but just had a question about monthly interest.
Would anyone know if this can this get paid to a nominated bank account - for me it would be Santander.
I have had a look on their website and cant really find any info on that
    thanks in advance

Relative used Investec when he had PoA (up to last year) for his relative - monthly income paid to  donor's bank account with no problems.

I renewed a fixed term account recently and monthly interest was an option. My annual interest is paid into a nominated account so I don't see why monthly should not be
