Was heading to CP Paris next week after Disneyland Paris. Both flights were changed by Airline (Aer Lingus) so was able to get refund. Disneyland was still to be closed for our arrival date (only by 2 days) so was able to get a refund there.Problem is that CP will be open and travel restrictions have been lifted but have no flights and no intention now of going. Can I do a chargeback request? Suggestions? Phil what did you put in your online complaint?0

Center Parcs offered to refund the money after I complained using the official form for a 3rd time. The only difference was that this time, I didn't use the "COVID-19" option - doing that means you'll just get stock replies. They actually agreed to refund me, even though in my message I already made it clear that I had already organised a refund from my bank. The language barrier probably doesn't help. I replied to their message saying that I didn't want or need a refund as I already had the money back. They responded acknowledging this, so hopefully that's the end of it. If they now dispute the chargeback I'll be very annoyed!

My 45 days has passed with no challenge from CP. So, my experience....an email to CP to say I can't use the vouchers, their stock reply saying they're only offering vouchers, a 4 min phonecall to Lloyds bank and all the money refunded, plus interest.0

I have submitted 2 complaints and eventually received an email saying: Exceptionally, the amount paid will be briefly refunded...this may involve some delay...
Not sure why they used the word briefly, but am hoping it is on its way back to me for good. Otherwise next step is to phone the bank for a chargeback.

Got replies to my 2 complaints, second advising that refund had been processed on 29 July. I checked with Halifax and they said it could take up to 2 weeks but to go back to them if it hadn't been received by then. Exactly 2 weeks and I now have my refund. Phew.
