Payment of Credits

The terms and conditions of my mobile network priovider stae that I must pay all monies owed withgin 30 days/current month and if I want to not pay that amount I would have to cancel my direct debit which would put me in breach of contract. I have just had a dispute woith my network provider where they agreed that they would credit me for overcharging. This was agreed on the 12 December 2019 and I expected the credit to be processed in the bill produced on the 17 December 2019. When I queried this I was fobbed off with the excuse that it was too near the bill date and it would be credited in the bill produced 17 January 2020. When it did not appear on the January bill I was again fobbed off with a "glitch in their processing" and it would be sorted out in the February bill. It was again not processed in the February bill with yet another excuse. Part of the credit was settled in the bill produced in March but only the amount equal to the cost of my package and I am now waiting for the remainder to be credited in April.
My query is that I can see nowhere in the terms and conditions of my agreement where payment of monies owed by the network provider is shown. By law I believe I would be obliged to monies owed within 30 days if there was no agreement in place stating differently. Is this not also true of monies owed to me and if so and this happens again what is the best method of resolution.
