Chipped windscreen

Driving on the motorway yesterday a stone flicked up and hit my windscreen. It left a tiny little chip which is barely noticable on the lower half of the passenger side. Do I need to get it repaired? My husband says it's nothing but I've read that even a tiny chip can get worse.

I have used one of the repair kits sold in asda. Did not expect much for the price paid. Repair is not perfect but you really do have to look hard to see it. Only issue is the clamp won't work near the edge of the screen. For under £10 it's worth a try.
