Foreign currency - should I hang on to it until the crisis is over

Hello,
I have a bit of foreign currency for holidays that I had planned to take this year. I have some US dollars and yen.
Let's say for the purposes of argument that foreign holidays won't be practical until 3 or 4 years from now.
Should I hold onto my foreign currency for when I can reschedule my holidays?
I'm concerned about inflation because of the extraordinary measures governments are having to take to bail out their economies.
I know there are lots of other things to worry about at the moment, but this is the only one I would ask Martin Lewis.

Unless anyone has a crystal ball they cant tell you what the money markets are going to do.0

Agreed, there is no way of guessing which way the markets will go, but if we are not travelling for the next three years there will no airlines or operators to take you in any event. If you need the cash, change now, if you don't then hang on to the currency0
