  • From what I'm seeing in my town it's the older people that are going out so I don't know if it's because they don't have anyone to help or they just don't want to stay in.

the wrinklies will not be stopped - I know my mother would have the same, she probably would have killed herself if she couldn't go out  / see friends etc-
the only chink of light  re the old boy is that he gets unwell quickly after being infected and isn't and out and about infecting others for too long. he is likely to get very unwell and I appreciate that you have explained that fully to him. Worth discussing with him what he wants done if he gets ill re things like admission / resuscitation etc - get it clear in advance

Hopefully todays new restrictions will keep him at bay. But maybe what will stop him is the fact no one wants him visiting them. He went today to someone who gets him car parts etc and he was told in no uncertain terms to "get the bleep out of my yard"
I started out with nothing......And still have most of it left:p
