This was paid on my barclay card and was about £270

My wife had booked to go see mary poppins on the 10th of april but this was cancelled due to the fact they coach could not be filled. She was able to get a refund but did not have the card on her that she paid it on at the time so she said she would ring them the following day. The following day she rang them for the refund but them refused this and offered a credit note? when she asked why she could not get the refund they said it was due to the corona virus and could not issue the refund. So they are now using this as an excuse as not to pay our monies back even though they sent my wife an email cancelling the trip due to the coach not being filled. She has sent them various emails asking for the money back but they have ignored all these emails and will not answer the phone when she rings them. She said she will give them 28 days to reply to the emails and that she would take it further.

Is there any advice you can give us with this please.

    thanks.
When did your wife receive the email stating they were cancelling because the coach couldn't be filled?   Totally different scenario from not being able to go ahead because of lockdown.  Am assuming she can provide that email?   Then they have no option but to refund imo!    Keep at them!  Send emails and attachments of theirs to you and tell them you will see them in court!

Contact Barclaycard and ask for a Chargeback  as they cancelled the trip and are refusing to refund you back onto the card,
New User name as MSE gave me a number in my old one.

My wife recieved the email on the 13th March and it clearly states it was cancelled due to the coach not being filled and not the Corona virus. She has sent loads of emails to them but they just do not reply. Yes she still has the email. Can I claim a charge back because it was paid on my barclays bank car and not my barclays platinum card.

Yes  Chargeback with a debit card  and Section 75 with a credit card.
Just summit the email as proof they cancelled it and are refusing to refund you

Is there an online form I would have to fill in or do I need to ring Barclays?
