I put in a refund claim on 15th March due to flight time change (not Covid cancellation) and still waiting. I've sent 2 emails. One got a reply saying be patient. No voucher offered yet. Will be putting section 75 claim in if nothing after 8 weeks.

  • Hi all,
I had a flight booked for 9th April with RyanAir and in March got an email saying it was cancelled and to click the link and fill out the form to get a refund. That was all fine and dandy and managed to submit it. The following weeks I continuously got emails from RyanAir stating that they're busy but my refund is being processed. Today, however, I've gotten a new email about the same flight asking to click a link to get a voucher. After going through the email numerous times I found a link stating to click it if I would prefer a refund. It then took me to their website with no options for refunds, just the voucher. Lots of warnings that I won't get a refund till after COVID-19. I tried applying through the website for a refund but it is not recognising the booking reference and the flight is not in my history as I guess it never happened. I've been waiting on the chat for 2 hours but no one has communicated back. Any ideas? I've heard not to take the vouchers because you don't have as much rights with it, is this true?
    Thanks in advance!
  • I cannot get a refund from Ryanair. They said 4 weeks ago they would process a refund but so far to date no refund. Booked it by credit card but credit card company is not taking calls
  • After contacting Ryanair and requesting a refund I have received a response saying that if I wish to request a refund I should contact them. A voucher was issued by email some weeks after the refund request was made. The email said "if you do not wish to accept this voucher option and wish to move your flight or request a refund.. contact us."
  • Hi. Advice please. I asked for a refund was offered a voucher. E mailed Ryanair saying I wanted a refund, no reply. Second e mail from Ryanair with a link to claim my voucher. Should I click the link? I don’t want them to see it as consent to send voucher when I want a refund? Any advice most welcome. Thanks
