Hi all!
Hope you're all keeping safe, healthy and happy during this unprecedented time*.
The MSE Forum and Social crew are making it their mission to keep Forum morale up (from the comfort of our beds... We miss you MSE Towers...), so we're going to be popping up all over the Forums with lots of threads to focus our minds on indoor activities in the coming days!

So! What are you all watching at the moment?! This could be on your own, as a couple, or a family affair!

I am completely binge-watching Sex Education on Netflix. It's funny, uplifting and really helps me switch off as I am totally engrossed in the characters!
@MSE_Laura_H is watching The Wire and Sex and the City, while @MSE_Anthony_S is obsessed with Modern Family.

(Eastenders, Homes Under The Hammer and A Place in the Sun are also acceptable and there is no judgement here. This is a safe space, everybody.)

Share your suggestions! Tell us what to expect, if it's easy to get into or grows on you, and so on. Is it brand new, or have you seen it 18 times?! Tell us your favourite character too!

Happy watching, Box Setters!

Watching The Stranger (although usually on the train, and now wfh and forgetting to watch it now).

Still HIGHLY RECOMMEND Breaking Bad. I still absolutely rave about it. Best thing I have EVER seen. Watched it 4 or 5 times over. Just fabulous. Love the characters and the acting. I miss them all LOL.

Enjoyed all of those. But I thought Designated Survivor lost its way in the last season.

    Also really enjoyed :-
     Sons of Anarchy
     Breaking Bad
     The Last Kingdom
  • Inspector Morse.
    Breaking Bad (again).

Not resorted to any boxed sets yet, but I will be looking at All4 and Walter Presents.  Some excellent series there, including Deutschland 83 and more Scandi drama.

I finished watching the wire a few months ago but would highly recommend that for anybody who wants a proper watcher available on Now TV at the moment I think. About the best Idris Elba has ever been in something, the 2nd series is a bit of a detour. but just an excellent, excellent series. Personally I liked having subtitles on.

Watching Fargo on Netflix at the moment which also seems very good.

I wouldn't consider either passive viewing though, need to pay attention to keep up with character development and story.

Parenthood, a US comedy/drama series I watched a while back seemed a pretty enjoyable for more passive viewing and would recommend that for people looking for something lighter.
