With the stock markets so low is it worth investing in a stocks and shares ISA?

Hi there, I've been considering a stocks and shares ISA for a long time. I'm glad I didn't invest last year. However I'm seeing as of today the FTSE 100 down to below 5100 and I'm wondering is now the time to invest?
Any thoughts and opinions would be appreciated
Thanks

If investing is right for you in the long term then go ahead, but don't be tempted to try to time the market - nobody knows whether this is the bottom or anywhere near it, although there are plenty of other threads speculating about it if you want to spend some time wading through opinions!
