Lifetime ISAs and 'standard' savings

If you can only save £4000 per tax year in a Lifetime ISA, can you also use savings from a 'standard' savings account in addition to the lifetime ISA savings as a deposit without losing the government bonus ?

    You could open a savings account with every single financial institution in the world to fund your deposit and your solicitor would still be able to withdraw from the Lisa without penalty.
