Morning all from a bright and sunny Kent. We’ve decided to cancel a few social occasions we had booked with various friends, with children, coming to us. No underlying concerns, just trying to limit the chances of catching something. I’ve volunteered for a local village support group to dog walk, deliver prescriptions if need be. The response for volunteers has been truly amazing. Keep safe allCarolbee10

Morning all, back to doom and gloom here........... the weather I mean.We had a phone call from DD last night, she was on her way to Morries after school and reported back the lack of .......... everything really, from potatoes to ice cream ! She was going to shop for us too but we are ok at the moment so we will pool our foods if necessary, I could not see anyone going hungry. Everything will be left at our gate for delivery or collection by DD. DD is also keeping an eye on Dad too with phone calls and any shopping he may need.We rang the pharmacy about our meds and they are in lockdown, hopefully they will be up and running by the end of the month when we need them. ( we now have 2 reported cases in the county ). Mr Fix It has also be able to book his cancer injection at the surgery for April as he's a "priority" case. That's not what I call him !!!Today I want to clean the downstairs, but Mr Fix It says I should take my time or we will have the cleanest house in Wales at this rate...... Oh I wish
I heard that b&q paint aisle was heaving too, so it looks like people are decorating their way through this shut down and I then remembered that I have a very large pot of white and one of magnolia left over, so if I get bored everything standing still could get a coat. Next doors cat better look out ! Only joking..... he's more a silver satin type
Happy birthday Snoozer hope you can enjoy your day.taff silly me bought a sack of potatoes and Mr Fix It has me working my fingers to the bone on KP'sI didn't want to be in the army game, I always wanted to play cowboys and indians, I just love the feather headdresses
Hugs to all today I'm sure we are all in need and will be for the foreseeable future, so I'm so glad that we can chat and air our feelings on here without being judged. You are all such a wonderful lotTake care and stay safenan xxFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently12 -
I've been out for DM's meds and some top up shopping. Surgery is doing telephone appointments and only allowing face to face ones when the Doc says so. There's big signs on reception saying 'do not lean on the counter'. Made me smile.Pharmacy was fine, they had all the meds needed so that was fine. They've got foaming skin cleaning stuff so I bought one just to use in the house.Waitrose was very busy. The fresh meat / fish and cheese counters are closed to make sure that staff can work the tills. Even the wee bakery cafe isn't selling coffee. I've got a W delivery tomorrow for heavy stuff. A text came through asking to make amendments before 12 noon today but the website is unavailable. - must be everyone trying to amend their order. My amendment would have been small so I'm OK with not being able to do it. So far..so good! The builders are busy working downstairs so there is more banging going on, they have to reinstated the ceiling there.I hope that all's well with everyone.11

Morning everyone. We had a great holiday we was very lucky in that we got our holiday in before things have gone mad. Just rang my boss and apart from a job where I clean a stair well and pick up a few leaves I can’t go in for the rest of the week. It’s crazy we couldn’t get much we wanted when we went shopping. I have to admit I am worried about things my job looks like it’s in trouble as I am a cleaner going into peoples homes10

I'm just glad that I could help in a small way.So far I've received three texts and two emails from friends and neighbours offering help with shopping etc. So kind of them, seems that the Be Kind message is being given a boost by the awful circumstances.DM asked me to buy paper hand towels, the interleafed kind, and was astounded to hear that they're not sold in Tesco! I've ordered some from Amazon though I think they're not needed, still, it keeps her happy!Tucked away in a hidden corner of a cupboard I found two Christmas Stollens - joy.8

Happy birthday Snoozer
I'm on my way home after what feels like a very long day
I am one of those with underlying health conditions with my lungs and may not be back to work for 12weeks
That could be interesting
A few of us were asked to go in today to sort some type of plan so will see how we get on
Stay safe everyone
