Cash ISA impacting Help to Buy ISA

Options
Hi,
Would really appreciate if someone could clarifying the below;
  • I currently have a Help to Buy ISA which I regularly contribute monthly payments into
  • I also have an old Cash ISA which is is attracting a low level rate of interest.  I have not input any funds into this ISA since I opened up my Help to Buy ISA a number of years ago
  • As my Cash ISA is attracting a low rate, I was wondering if I could perform a transfer in transaction from this Cash ISA into another Cash ISA (different provider) without causing implications to my inflight Help to Buy ISA?
  • I do not want to contribute any new money into my Cash ISA.  I just want to get a better rate.
  • I will still be regularly contributing to my Help to Buy ISA
  • If the above can be done, can I also open up a new Lifetime ISA (same tax year as the above)?

    You can transfer your old cash ISA to a newer one without affecting your HTB ISA, as long as you only pay into one or the other of these during any given tax year (unless both are with a provider supporting split ISAs), and you can also open and fund a lifetime ISA concurrently.
