BREAKING: Dominic Raab says Britons should not leave country

Dominic Raab has announced advice against Britons leaving the country.

Mr Raab told MPs: "Based on the fast-changing international circumstances today I am announcing changes to FCO (Foreign and Commonwealth Office) travel advice.

"UK travellers abroad now face widespread international border restrictions and lockdowns in various countries.

"The FCO will always consider the safety and the security of British nationals so with immediate effect I've taken the decision to advise British nationals against non-essential travel globally for an initial period of 30 days and of course subject to ongoing review."

Apparently not (with our travel insurance (I&G) anyway.
The Governments suggestions/advice aren't sufficient for diddly squat legally I am afraid, they are just suggestions.
You'd need the Government (FCO) to actually ban travel to that country for insurance cover to activate.

Check your travel insurance policy however, if it was in place prior to 31/3 it may cover you, most, unfortunately, have significant caveats.
