I have not seen any data from Nutmeg to suggest that paying 0.75% + ETF costs provides any advantage over paying 0.45% + ETF costs. It all seems a bit mad when you could be paying Vanguard 0.15% + fund or ETF costs.

A month ago you started with, 'I already have a S&S isa that isn’t brilliant'. You've decided to invest in a S&S ISA with Vanguard this year. As you're not able to transfer just the uninvested cash you have with Nutmeg (the not brilliant ISA) why don't you simply convert your investment to cash, ask Vanguard to transfer the lot, and start with a clean sheet?
Why are you so reluctant to do this ^^^^^^and start with a clean sheet. Or have I missed something?

I honestly don’t know. I thought I may lose more money on the original investment

Nobody can tell you whether your investment with Nutmeg will do better or worse than your proposed investment with Vanguard. BUT you've already said your investment 'isn't brilliant' and you want to invest in Vanguard funds. There really is no point waiting to transfer until your investment with Nutmeg 'picks up' as by then, presumably, the Vanguard funds will also have 'picked up' so will cost you more. And when will you consider them to have 'picked up' enough to make the move?
