LGCP and Vehicle Control Services

Hello All.
Need a bit of advice. I have read the newbies thread and strolled through various cases but couldn't find a case similar to mine so thought it would be worthwhile asking the question... I recently moved to Nottingham for work and have been pretty unlucky with parking fines - never really had any before! But I received 2 tickets from 2 separate car parking management companies for parking at a car park next to the hospital. I thought these were staff car parks for the hospital (it was my first and second day). We hadn't been issued our staff permits yet and were advised to keep a note on the window stating that we were new staff members and permits were pending. I did this on the first day and got a ticket not realising the parking lot was private and separate to the hospital. The second day I parked in a car park just next to this one and received another windscreen ticket. I have now received a claim form for one and a letter before claim for the other. These were sent to an old address and I received them very late. I submitted the AOS for the first one on 01/03/2020. I have not replied to the second 'letter before claim'.
I guess my question is, do I have much of a leg to stand on? I haven't been back yet to read the signage to see if they comply with IPC regulations etc and I have only just submitted a SAR so not sure what they have sent me or what they have on me.
Apologies in advance for my stupidity and naivety but would be grateful for any help and advice.

Anyone can drag VCS into the rubbish bin.  Forget the IPC, a well known scam set up by the disgraceful and totally incompetent Gladstones solicitors ..... don't bother with such rubbish

Now, VCS is a sister company of Excel owned by the ex clamper Simon Renshaw-smith and the business is all about scamming people for money.
Nice to see you are in Nottingham because this week Excel and their very dodgy  legal got very badly spanked by Nottingham county court for their utter rubbish.

EXCEL with the help of Elms Legal got spanked for 3 failures
Caspar7 was in Nottingham CC today in front of Judge Lam.    IT' WAS A WIN
Again EXCEL added the fake £60 and again Judge Lam said it was unlawful
A 3 POINT FAILURE BY EXCEL and the spanking included the fake £60

So, forget the IPC, just a scam outfit, you may receive debt collectors from another bunch of idiots, probably DRP  which you totally ignore ... scamming nutters with no power ... but they do lie
If VCS contact you further, come back here

Yes, these cases are 99% winnable with no CCJ risk.

Follow the guide to court written by bargepole that you will find in the first post of the NEWBIES. This will take you through the whole process from LBC to the court appearance.

You should get pics of the site and signage asap.

Have you determined the identity of, and complained to, the landowner yet?

Have you complained to your MP about this unregulated scam?

I haven't complained to the landowner or to my MP, is there a template somewhere I can steal?

Get your own (time and date stamped) pics to prove that the signs have not since changed.

Ok so I went to the car park today. The first car park I parked at (07/08/2019) still has the same signs as posted above (I took my own too).
The second car park adjacent to this one, where I parked on 08/08/2019 is actually now managed by total parking solutions, NOT vehicle control services. Are they still allowed to claim against me? I don't have any photos of their signage at the time but I did take some photos of the new signage put up by total parking solutions.
I need to start formulating a defence by the end of the month latest (sent my AOS on 02/03/2020).

28/01/2020. Yes I sent my AOS late (didn't realise I had a claim against me because they sent the letters to an old address - but it seems as though it was accepted...
  • Sorry AOS was submitted 28/03/2020 - received on 02/03/2020

Not possible. It's only 16/03/2020 today. Are you a Time Lord?
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
