Mc Donalds complaint

The Big Mac has already decreased significantly in size over the years but the price has still gone up and up ( over £3 currently)  when I emailed my complaint with extensive picture to Paul Pomroy (Ceo of Mc Donalds Uk) the email was redirected to customer services.. they in turn sent me  a voucher for £5 by way of an apology not even enough to cover the cost of the order. I felt insulted !!

Why would they send you enough to cover the order when it appears that it was only the Big mac that you were unhappy with?
This cost you around £3 and they sent a voucher for £5, so they have more than covered the cost of the item you complained about.
How much compo would it need to make you feel a bit less insulted?
  • As new to using this site... I Wasn't aware of the other section "praise / Vents ect" if i find a way to move it to the right section I will.

It wasn't a grand mac bun, that's the reason I'm vext it was tiny... I've kept both the patties  in the fridge, their size is a living joke.

If you want decent food be prepared to pay for it, better still get something healthier, most services have a waitrose, M&S or some such.

If McDonald's is your idea of a decent place to eat then frankly you don't deserve a decent burger. You get the quality you are paying for. It's cheap crap. If you want better quality food then stop being so tight & spend more money.  It's like buying a cheap greasy kebab from a place with a 1 star rating then complaining about it. What were you expecting to get for a few quid? Michelin star? lol

I think you got lucky - looks like they upgraded you to the grand mac bun for free ;-)

I rarely eat it, only when I've been travelling and needed something cheap and unfilling.Ithonk it's cheap enough. The one time I complained, I too got sent a £5 voucher. I can't see the problem. The burger looks a tiny bit overcooked.

The OP wasn't on the motorway. They were driving to get on the motorway.
£9 would have paid for a very good pre-prepared meal to take with them or if this wasn't possible, it would have been enough to cover something a lot more nutritious from a cafe, pub or shop.
